We wrapped up an incredible weekend at Recas II Circuit, where Santiago Lo Giudice (119) and Guillermo El Malek (121) took their very first steps into the world of official competition. Both drivers made their racing debuts, starting the journey toward their dreams of becoming professional drivers.
The main goal of the weekend was successfully achieved: complete all sessions without issues, finish both races, and gain valuable real racing experience. This milestone is crucial in a driver’s development, helping them face the pressure, pace, and dynamics of a full race weekend.
The event began on Friday with six test sessions, where the team focused on fine-tuning the karts and adapting the setup to the track conditions. The progress was evident in every session, with both drivers improving lap after lap.
Saturday marked the big day. Arriving early at the track — 7:30 a.m. sharp — the excitement and nerves were in the air. After a solid warm-up session, the drivers headed into qualifying on fresh tires with high expectations. Results were very positive: Guille qualified P14 and Santi P15, an excellent result considering they were the youngest and most inexperienced drivers on the grid.
During the races, both showed remarkable determination, adaptability, and courage. In Race 1, Santi crossed the line in P12 and Guille in P15; in Race 2, they swapped results, with Guille finishing P12 and Santi P15. It was an outstanding performance for their debut, in a context where nerves can challenge even the most seasoned drivers.
With this first milestone behind us, we take home invaluable experience, countless lessons learned, and huge motivation to keep pushing forward. This weekend marks just the beginning of a journey that will continue in 2026, with bigger goals and the same relentless spirit.
